Firstwave entered a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services and Corent Technology.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Corent Technology entered a strategic partnership with FirstWave to launch its software solutions on Amazon’s global marketplace.

Supported by staff and about AU$250,000 in funding from AWS and Corent Technology, the partnership aims to simplify product distribution via AWS Marketplace, enhance FirstWave’s AI technologies, and streamline deployment, provisioning, and billing through AWS infrastructure.

The deal will enable FirstWave to deliver an all-in-one experience for customers with procurement, automated monthly activation and billing through existing AWS accounts, reaching 300,000 monthly active users and more than 2,500 Channel partners on the AWS Marketplace.

This forms part of FirstWave’s plan to generate revenue from around 150,000 organisations currently using its free-tier software by providing simplified upgrades to enterprise-level, AI-powered IT compliance solutions via the AWS Marketplace.

Development activities are already underway, and the execution of the agreement will allow the rollout of the initial products on the marketplace in roughly three weeks.

“We’re moving at full speed with AWS and Corent to bring our technologies to market with AWS leveraging innovations in AI, which marks a major step in a larger strategy to scale FirstWave’s global presence through AI-powered automation for compliance management,” said Danny Maher, CEO of FirstWave.

“The support of one of the world’s leading software companies showcases the strength of FirstWave’s technologies and opportunities for growth. Getting our products launched on the AWS Marketplace removes key friction points for our current and potential customers and gives us access to a much broader global distribution channel.”
