Luxottica-owned Sunglass Hut has opened its world largest store in Sydney's George Street, which has been fitted with digital features to engage customers.
Luxottica has sold the BrightEyes Sunglasses chain back to its original owners, Ralph Edwards and Geoff Harbert, for an undisclosed amount.

The company said it expects the various initiatives launched in the Australian market will generate further significant improvements this year.
The acquisition of the 61 Optifashion stores will bring Luxottica's retail footprint to almost 1000 stores.
