QV Melbourne has taken home gold for its ‘Embrace your Everyday’ campaign in the advertising category at the 2016 Asia Pacific Centre Awards, presented by the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).
Attracting a record 166 entries, the awards were held on 11 October in Manila, Philippines, to recognise the Asia Pacific region’s shopping centres for outstanding achievement in marketing, development and design.
“QV Melbourne successfully combined its digital assets and social media platforms with out-of-home advertising to execute their encompassing brand positioning campaign ‘Embrace your Everyday’,” the ICSC stated in its announcement of the winners.
The winning campaign was developed to highlight QV’s unique offering as home to the only full line Woolworth’s in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, along with major retailers including Big W, Harvey Norman, Domayne, Dan Murphy’s and over 120 specialty stores.
QV’s regional centre manager, Lisa Fleming, says she is thrilled about the acknowledgement of her marketing team’s innovative approach.
“The recognition from this prestigious international awards program is a testament to the high level of success of our ‘Embrace your Everyday’ campaign, executed by QV Melbourne marketing manager, Sarah Hynes, with the support of our marketing team and agencies,” she says.
The competition was open to shopping centre owners, developers, management companies, architects, designers and retailers. The win gives QV Melbourne automatic entry into the 2017 ICSC VIVA Awards, a global program that honours the real estate industry’s most cutting-edge properties, innovative solutions and creative responses to marketing trends.
