New role at CPM Australia

Marketing group CPM Australia has created a new role after realising that more field marketing companies are focussing on building the credentials of their staff due to the growing popularity of online retailing.

As a result, the company has appointed Paul Crummy to managing director of CPM Direct Sales.

With over 15 years experience in the direct sales and energy sectors, Crummy has worked as in sales management at TRU Energy to more recently being associate vice president of Aegis Direct.

Group managing director for CPM Australia and NZ, Andrew Potter, said Crummy's addition to the team will help further CPM’s strategic capabilities in the region.

“We are delighted that Paul has chosen to join CPM, as he has a wealth of experience not only in Direct Sales but also in areas that will complement our expansion into other channels to market that will ultimately assist our Clients sales activities,” he said.

In addition to managing the existing direct sales business including AGL and Optus clients, Crummy will be leading the strategic way for CPM to develop its capabilities in new channels to market.
