Entries for the POPAI Marketing at Retail Awards 2011 are now open.
The POPAI Marketing at Retail Awards 2011 rewards innovation and excellence in the retail marketing industry across 17 categories, including promotions, in-store media, point-of-purchase displays and integrated campaigns.
Fresh from the POPAI Global Awards in Germany where Australia won nine of the 23 awards given, Karen Spear, general manager, said there are so much innovation currently existing in the Australian retail marketing sector.
“Last year we had almost 180 entries, and we’re anticipating we’ll be spoilt for choice with a raft of quality case studies in 2011,” she said.
“The Awards enable people across the industry to exchange ideas, inspiration and success and keep abreast of trends. The industry continues to grow and thrive as we profile and reward excellence.”
Entries close at 5pm on Tuesday 26 July. All entries will be displayed as part of the Marketing at Retail Expo on 13-15 September, 2011, at the Melbourne Convention at Exhibition Centre.
The judging panels will be comprised of experienced retailers, brand marketers and producer/suppliers across the industry.
Entry is open to all POPAI members and non-members of POPAI who are either brand owner/marketers or retailers. Non-member producer/suppliers may enter by becoming a member of POPAI Australia and New Zealand.
