LAS VEGAS: One of the big hits of the CES is the Zomm Bluetooth keychain which is the world's first wireless leash for mobile phones that lets you know when you have left your phone behind - it is also a wireless speaker phone and can call emergency services if you get into trouble.

Zomm pairs to your mobile phone within three seconds and can then perform a number of separate tasks.

It reminds the owner of the phone when the keychain is more than 10 metres away from the phone. When the phone rings it provides call notification and also acts as a speakerphone.

It is also an emergency device that calls emergency services after the button on the device has been pressed down for nine seconds. The victim can speak to the emergency services through the speaker or if they are incapacitated the location can be found using triangulation.
