With the introduction of the RSS bar code into retail point of sale scanning, more information can be packed into a smaller area. Using a solid state CCD bar code scanning engine (no moving parts or mirrors) combined with patented decoding algorithm, the GT10 provides a snappy response to not only 1D bar code scanning, but also to 2D bar code scanning. Reading multiple 1D or 2D bar codes quickly reduces the requirement to read multiple bar codes in sequence.

Multi bar code scanning provides improved efficiency at the point of sale, allowing more data to be captured within a shorter period of time.

The GT10 can be programmed to read and format bar code data prior to transmission to a host application. This allows the operator to format data as required by the host application, eliminating the requirement to use the keyboard. Combine the advanced data formatting with a magic key, and the data capture process is lighting fast. The GT10 is available in wired (Keyboard wedge, USB, Serial) and wireless (Bluetooth) interfaces. Optional extras include a desktop and wall mount stand, and a hands free stand. As a testimate to the Denso quality, the GT10 comes with a conditional 5 year warranty.
